Nero announced the upcoming release of Nero 8, the latest version of
the German software company's digital media suite. The media editing,
burning, and backup software improves on past version with a slew of
new features, including a re-designed interface, better integration

* Nero RescueAgent lets you restore deleted files and recover data from damaged discs.

The biggest improvement to Nero's interface is the introduction of the
newly-design StartSmart UI, which gives users one-click access to key
features like burning and ripping. Users can also create media in next
generation formats such as Blu-Ray BD-AV and HV DVD. Nero's improved
online features include integration with video sharing sites such as
YouTube and MySpace, giving users the ability to upload and share video
with a single click. Optimized for use with Windows Vista,
